in thinking about a cat, I already have thats kinda pertective but hes fat and happy doen move things. If I keep the food and water, and liter in my room away from my other cats have (located in the basement) Do you think that this can work? without them fighting all the time?
Try to gradually introduce the new cat to all your existing cats. Allow time for the new cat to adjust to his new environment before doing so. To be sure, only allow cats to interact, while monitored until you can be sure that they will behave as for themselves.
Please note that your cat can get used to it several weeks or months to with another cat around to. Be ready to jump into a catfight, too. You must also be prepared, something they should not do in a position to get along well together. And remember, your older cat was there first.

How do Cats and Dogs know which is cat food and which is dog food?
Mar 02, 2007 by Aneleh | Posted in Dogs
I have 2 cats and three dogs. Ran one night, I made cat food (the dry kind) and my cats were hungry. So, since I had been closed only dog food and the shops, I gave them dog kibbles. They are more or less the same shape and size and are of the same ingredients - chicken. My cats have a nibble and refused the rest of the shell, rather starve than eat dog food. The next day I got them a fresh pack of made-for-cats croquettes and she immediately jumped up and ate. How come my cats knew what I gave them was not cat food?
I also know of dogs that do not eat the cat food for the duration (not by me but cos it) pig and something to eat.
It would be good if a pet food manufacturer can answer this question. Is there a special ingredient that you know in dog and cat food that cats and dogs, which makes Who kibbles? Even today, the dogs are eating fish too - like salmon. One can not say it's the ingredient. How come they know the difference?
You know, especially dogs. If you leave the cat food bowl to get to the bottom of the dog after it, before the dog food. Cat food higher quality ingredients as dog food and dog know that because they are trying to cat food they think it tastes better. Cats generally do not eat the dog food when on the ground, because the same reasons. You know the cat food tastes better than good. Here is a solution to keep the dog from eating the cat food. The cat food bowl on the counter top, where the dog can not reach it. Only the cat is right there, and the cat does not want near the dog food bowl on the floor.
