Where can I get a DVB-T to NTSC converter?
Dec 10, 2009 by wee g | Posted in TVs
I have a fairly good knowledge and understanding of traditional analogue radio and TV.
On analog channels (or programs if you are in the U.S.) are broadcast on its own frequency.
To set a channel to the receiver only in the appropriate frequency matching, but I will note that to receive DVB systems via various channels on a single frequency. How does it work and how does the recipient select the individual channels if they are all in the same frequency?
The combined data stream (TS) is a set of data "packets" Each package is replaced by a "packet ID (PID). A PID corresponds to a particular stream (Elementary Stream). For example, all packets that have the main video is not the same PID, Audio PID, the other having the second channel video, a different PID, closed captions will have a different PID, etc. Some data tables are also sent to the recipient, the PID goes with what to tell stream. Then the receiver will take the packages needed to program the user wants to mount.
Think of it as pouring a bag of M & M candy down a tube. On the other hand, you must select the red (video) and green (audio), etc.
