A really easy way to make him an old, well-Used-look is by giving it a coat of white paint, gloss finish and half-or one specified for "doors, trim and milling operations. (Depending on the current can you ask first prime number, then your paint store.) If it is dry, take sandpaper and lightly sand away the paint on the edges of the table top and the edges of the drawers and doors to reveal the wood beneath the paint surface.. sand from just enough to make it look like natural wear and age. You can practice a test piece of wood first one, before the actual sand desk. Another way is to go to a craft or paint store and ask if they contribute to a product, the color "crackles" a painting. This you apply through the paint and it reacts with the surface and makes them look antiqued or distressed by them are actually too small cracks around the surface. The instructions will tell you what type of surface works and how to apply it .. Before you try something, but you should paint a little research at your local crafts store, or want, or call any furniture coatings in your area for professional advice. I'm sure it would help in the situation.

When is the best time of year to have a yard sale, more specifically, to sell our used furniture?
Dec 12, 2006 by Suzanne T | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
We sell some nice items such as an antique dining table and a handmade drawing table. With him so close to Christmas, we are not sure when would be the best time to sell furniture. We will help an ad in the paper listing specific items to draw people from running, but I wonder if waiting for more to spring for something like that. (Although we live in the South and quite warm for winter)
Thank you!
Do it now! never know what people at Christmas right? need?. You get a lot of time at this time of year she spent asking, yard sale. Why wait until spring, do it now.
