how do i get rid of vomit on an expensive oriental carpet?

Son sick in bed (min) 5 years old, and threw all of Oriental rug, i cleaned with pinesol spray but still left a thick, orangeresidue how I can drive it?

Not sure if this is ruining ur carpet or not .. with an Oriental ..
inside the house .. I am hot, and I mean hot, steaming water .. put some in a towel .. put it on the spot for about 5 minutes. until I handle it .. and remove it .. then used
different products of 409 for professional carpet cleaners, dish soap .. and one of them took her smooth ..

then, while it was warm .. I scrubbed it .. repeatedly ..
then rinsed several times ..
Then put the hot wet towel back there again to try and take all the products ..
it worked for me ..
Good luck ...hope that it will not discolor carpet ur .. It was not mine.

Spilled Diet Coke in front of an oriental carpet about 1 week. Any ideas?

If you have not already tried it with other chemicals, cleaning set (ie) the stain, then you should have much luck with OxyClean. I used it on red wine stains and it works great.
