Maybe it's talking about buyers remorse. I bought this antique Royal typewriter in almost perfect condition, functional, and all for $ 380 from a typewriter shop. All metal buttons with glass paint - great condition. Just beautiful. I am a writer and love to use it. But I seriously pay a good bit of change for them. Was it silly?

Today I bought a typewriter from an antique shop but there was no indication how old he was or anything else. It's a Royal mark but does not say, do it or anything, just the serial number (p235017) it looks the closest to the ROYAL-No. 10/SX-series, but it is light green. The ribbon has dried out and I was looking to buy a new device, but I'm not sure what kind to get because I am not the kind of typewriter I do not know. Thank you!

Bertha, Mr. Spiro's daughter-in-law, would spring many years later to his first encounter with a typewriter that would have such a hidden meaning to his senses.
