I have enjoyed drawing and sketching cartoon characters for years, but I would be afraid in front of the suction, so I do not make as much as I like. I am looking for someone to tell me what I need to start materials for the determination of this kind of art. (eg what kind of pencils, paper, sketch, etc. ..) is there a good website or a forum where I can ask these questions and to visit tips?
You can probably ask yourself questions like these at deviantART or Concept Art.com
I would look at some of the supplies of this artist.

At the end of their tutorial they will list the supplies they used and you could use the same material to get started. Good luck!

This sketch started as a pencil sketch, which I scanned and modified in Pixelmator. Then I imported it into Manga Studio Enter 4, where I inked and colored it. I wished I had a steadier hand.
