Can anyone help me to learn how to identify authentic barkcloth & also the vintage fabric barkcloth?

I need to know how both the original bark of Hawaii from the bark of trees and also the positions in the 50's, the fabric reacts as Bast.

The fabric is woven in one piece and the pattern printed on the fabric as a picture. The material from the inner bark is not woven, but beaten up - not to weave so.

Barkcloth is permitted under the cloth made by the indigenous peoples. True bark cloth is woven from fibers of bark kicked out and all necessary items. It is often marked with tribal designs. The fabric was created in France, which was in the 20s is a growing interest in tribal art, it was sometimes cretonne and cotton (cotton with rayon, which was a very new material mixed at this time) - and although it woven to appear very nubby and natural, it was not stained with tribal style designs, but with flowers that were very popular.
