I have to go there new, and it is water soluble, but the old does not seem to move.
Hello ... the paint department Lowes (or Home) Depot and get "Adhesive Remover" pour it on your floor, you leave them for about 15 monute ... what it does is to re-activate the adhesive, you can just scrape it off ... have a garbage can close to srca [e it up and just dump it there ... it is kind of tacky ... for want of a better word .... anyways, it is hard to smell knind so open some windows and have it .... Oh, also in the bottom division, and there is reality, "Adhesive Remover" is recommended for recording vinyl floors .... same concept, different product markets .... Good luck ...
